Iron Man 2

Iron Man 2, like Iron Man 1 is.......AMAZING. I think it's one of those curious things that Robert Downey Jr. is just so....good. I wish that I had that talent for acting. I think it's also such an uplifting thing, after all the problems he's had personally in the past. It's nice to see people overcome their problems.

So Iron Man goes a little crazy in Iron Man 2. He finds out that he's dying, and there's not much he can do to prevent it. The thing in his chest saving his life, is also killing him. So sad. So he becomes reckless. He hires a woman (ScarJo) to work for him, despite Pepper (Gwen Paltrow) says no. She kicks his Chauffer's ass though, so he insists. ScarJo, ends up being a spy for shield in the end (The Black Widow). At the end she does a really fun scene. Now, I don't like ScarJo in reality. She annoys me, and I don't think she's that pretty honestly. So I want to not like every scene she's in, but I can't be that petty. At the end her and the chauffer enter a building, and while the chauffer engages in a fist fight with ONE guard, she takes out ALOT. By the time he knocks out the one, he looks down the hallway and finds it littered with bodies. It's quite amusing. I wish I could kick that much ass.
So Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is reckless and doing stupid shit. Bad timing as there's a bad guy from...Russia, I think? Who has a grudge against Tony and his father. He says his father stole his father's designs. He then builds his own outfit, with some wicked power cables. Tony angers his competitor in the weapons industry by teasing him about how terrible his weapons are. He then leaves the room and somehow enters into a race car. He starts racing, and that's when the man with the power cables comes in and destroys the cars around him with a single blow, causing mayhem. Tony is left bare, but Pepper and the Chauffer show up with a travel Iron Man suit. ha. He becomes Iron Man and stops the bad man. He's arrested, and tells Tony how his father stole his father's stuff. Tony is angry.

Problem: His competitor (who I think actually even auditioned for the role of Tony Stark...haha) then bribed people and released the man out of jail. He gets him to build him suits, except, he doesn't build suits, he builds droids. His competitor is pissed, but still tries to sell them to the Armed Forces. Rodey, Stark's military buddy also steals one of Tony's suits (a silver one). He actually blows up half of Stark's house, being pissed at him for a crazy party that went too far. So he's there with all the droids.

Meanwhile Tony's finally introduced to Nick Fury. He convinces him that he is able to fix his problem with his chest piece, and that he just has to invent the solution. He is then left to be watched by Agent Coulson (aww....I love Agent Coulson). He's so hilarious. This is also when he finds out that the Black Widow is maybe not who she said she was.

He watches old video of his dad. He finds a secret message from his dad hidden after one of the tapes. Because of this he manages to figure out that there is a possible solution.

He starts to do some construction work, to create a new element. One of the best moments is when he supports one of the tubes by propping it up with a mock up of Captain America's shield. Ha. Later in Captain America we found out that it was his father, Howard Stark that made Captain America's shield.

So he successfully creates a new element. Yay Tony! So now he's not going to die. So he becomes serious about life again. He finds out what's going on with the droids. He goes to stop it, and finds Rodey in the middle of it all. He yells at Tony for trying to keep this technology away from them, but then realizes that he's lost control of that suit. The bad guy is remotely controlling all the droids and Rodey's suit. He killed his guards and hacked into the computer. Rodey, realizing this, starts to realize why Tony might not want other people to have his suits. Rodey and the droids go after Tony, and blow up most of the city. Tony gets control of Rodey's suit again, though, and they are able to combine forces to fight the droids, and the bad guy. This is when Black Widow the Chauffer break in looking for the hacker, just to find that he's gone already. Pepper overhears Black Widow's conversation with Tony, when she congratulates him for discovering the element and saving his own life. Pepper becomes very distraught when finding out Tony was about to die, and didn't tell her. It's kinda funny actually.

She arrests the stupid competitor guy, and keeps contact with Tony and Rodey. They manage to kill all the droids and the bad guy who has his own fun suit now.

In the end, Tony and Pepper finally get together, which is sweet. I like Pepper. She's not an idiot.

So GREAT movie, DEFINITELY worth seeing it. Multiple times. :) Definitely worth full points. One of my favorite movies.
