Just finished Richard II! New BBC version. GREAT. Can't wait till Henry IV. 

Even if you don't LOVE Shakespeare, this is a good one!

War Horse:

I have dragged my feet watching this one. I think that this review has the least written about the actual movie and the most written about my perceptions, and therefore may be less significant for some readers...but nevertheless it's done. It was a decent movie. Not my favorite, but I don't dismiss it.

Iron Man 2

Last Avenger movie review, before The Avenger movie review! We are DEAD at work today, so I have a lot of time to sit here and...blog. Great to get paid to do this. Ha.

But because I am at work, I am unable to do pictures. I will try to find time after work to get and edit pictures for my blog. Sorry. I feel like my blog is bare without pictures. I haven't checked the video in Iron Man 2 or the Hulk because....I am at work. So hopefully they are good!

The Incredible Hulk

The Incredible Hulk! 

So on my mission to watch all the Avenger movies before the Avengers came out, I watched the Incredible Hulk starring Ed Norton. There's also an Incredible Hulk movie with Eric Bana, I guess. I haven't seen that one, although I would like to. This one was alright. I think I liked it better than Captain America, but less than Thor. Of course I only really loved Thor because of Loki.....lol.

So here's my review for the Hulk!

Captain America: The First Avenger

So to prepare for the Avengers I also watched Captain America. Captain is one of my least favorite character in the Avengers, but the movie wasn't horrible. It's not my favorite, but it's worth at least one watch.

THOR!

So Yes. I watched Thor, because of the Avengers. I watched it BEFORE the avengers, but less than a week before. I wanted to educate myself before the new film. Afterwards, I was thankful that I did. Not because Thor was that great, but because I felt that it was important to the overall storyline.

To date my favorite superhero is....Loki.....who is the bad guy. So Super villain. Whatever.  He may not win you over in this movie. Although I thought he was the best part in this movie (as you can tell by most of my review revolving around Loki rather than Thor), after watching this then the Avengers, I'm not sure how you can love anyone more than Loki. Best super....person ever.

The Hunger Games

So I FINALLY watched The Hunger Games. I felt like everyone in the world had either seen or read the book before I did. This semester has just been CRAZY, but finally, I made it to see the movie. Just in time to, because I WILL see the Avengers soon. That's going to happen.

Anyway, I thought it was...good. I am one of those who think it may not be worth the hype...but it's still good. I like it. I recommend it, just....it's not one of my favorite movies. I look forward to the next two movies, but I can wait. I may read the books, because well....I can. And finding out what happens would be nice. I felt like a lot more should have happened in the BIG PICTURE. But then...I've heard that's what the next two books are more about. So we'll see then.

Serenity

Two posts in one day. Who'd a thought.

But I watched both Serenity and Pride and Prejudice on the same day, so it was fitting. 

Unlike P&P, this was the first time I ever saw Serenity. It was shortly after I watched firefly. If you are a die-hard firefly fan...you will not like my review. I am very critical of my sci-fi. I LOVE sci-fi. But the bar is set high. I have watched doctor who since I was five...actually probably before that. I have watched a ridiculous amount of star trek. By the time I was twelve, I could repeat every line to every star wars movie, and oh yes, I stood in line for every midnight showing.

So...Yeah. It was good. But sorry, it just didn't equal....the above. But I did give it a shot. And a fair shot. I honestly had high hopes for this one.

Pride and Prejudice addition!

Wrote my Pride and Prejudice blog post! It's.....LONG. That's what happens though when you review your fav. movie. It's hard not to go through every scene. I wasn't even watching it, but I still was like oh then this happens, then this happens, and this was awesome what happened next....sorry.


So anyway...if you want to attempt reading it....here ya go.

Iron Man!

Iron Man!

I've seen Iron Man plenty of times now. I didn't see it though until Iron Man 2 came out. My mom wanted someone to go see Iron Man 2 with, and being the nice sweet daughter I am, I agreed to go with her. One problem...I never saw the first! I had little interest too. I wasn't expecting it to be good. I think I was expecting some crappy attempt at another remake of a bad superhero comic.
But as I was about to go see the second one, I decided...two hours before I was to leave to pop in this one. So I had plenty of Iron Man that night.

Thankfully I was completely wrong about the movie. It ended up being AWESOME. I fell in love with Iron Man after the first like ten minutes of the movie, and the rest was just gold. So read my review, please remember there will be spoilers. I need to add that to the head. I just really like to blab...ha. It's my blog, I get to do that.

Welcome to my Movie Page!

Hello World,

So I started my favorite television shows blog over a year ago now (I know I can hardly believe it's been a year, and I've posted a whole six times), but I have decided that it's time to expand to include movies as well. I am not going to go in any order, but I am going to use a similar format as my tv show page. Each movie with have it's own page, and link back to this blog that will discuss updates and edits and other cool things that I find along the way. It's not a normal blog flow, but I like it. It's like a website/blog. It's a 'weblogsite'. I just started a whole new thing....lol

So I am just going to write reviews when I watch, and add them in alphabetical order on the left. It's starting now, so any movie I've seen in the past, I will have to watch again before I blog it.

PS: Movies that will NEVER make this blog: Matchpoint (or whatever that stupid horrible movie with ScarJo was), Castaway(OMG really. I lost two hours of my life. Thank you), and most horror films. I don't have anything against horror films. I think they're great actually...well some of them. I just REALLY REALLY like to sleep at night. <3

Follow, tweet, g+, pin me (and whatever other new social networking device is out nowadays). As in my TV blog I MAY try and use photos. I may try and photoshop photos, as that's a fun hobby. I will always reference where I got my photos from. Just FYI in case you use mine, I don't care if you link back to me or not...I'm not that great at photoshop, but you should probably give credit to the people I took them from. :)
